Request Online Course Support

Are you teaching an asynchronous online course and want to connect students to research support?  The Library offers personalized introduction videos, Library Search tutorials, and Meet with a Librarian services to help students find the resources they need:

Videos

Your liaison librarian can create a short, personalized video introducing themselves and highlighting subject-specific library resources and services for your students. You can also share our library search tutorials with your students. These videos are an easy way to embed research support directly into your course site or module.

What’s Included in the Personalized Video?

Each video (up to 5 minutes long) includes:

  • A friendly introduction to your liaison librarian
  • An overview of key library resources and research tools for your subject area
  • Instructions on how students can schedule a Meet with a Librarian appointment for personalized help

Click the button below to fill out a quick form and your liaison librarian will follow up to confirm. Video turn around time is typically a minimum of two weeks.

Meet with a Librarian

For students who would like one-on-one research help, the Meet with a Librarian consultation service offers an easy way for them to connect with a librarian.

What topics are covered in a Meet with a Librarian session?

  • Choosing or narrowing down a research topic
  • Finding scholarly articles, books, and other materials
  • Evaluating sources for credibility and relevance
  • And more!

Sessions last 30 minutes and are available either in-person at the Library or online via Zoom. After scheduling, students will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link for online meetings or directions for in-person visits.
