Previous recipients include Amherst College, Carleton College, Grinnell College, Swarthmore College, and Wellesley College.

Recognized with a Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) unit commendation for mission fulfillment during the University’s Mission Fulfillment and Sustainability Evaluation. The regional accrediting bodies’ highest unit commendation.

Leading campuswide student satisfaction ratings. 97% of students selected “satisfied” or “very satisfied” as their library satisfaction rating in the 2024 campuswide satisfaction survey.

Awarded the inaugural 2023 Student-Focused Department of the Year Award from the Nevada State Student Alliance. Student leaders recognized the Library’s outstanding service to students and its impactful partnerships with student organizations on activities that promote student wellness and facilitate connections with academic resources and initiatives.
