The University Library collects data for the purposes of troubleshooting access problems, evaluating library collections and services, reporting library engagement to the Office of Institutional Research, and IRB approved research. Data that could reasonably be traced back to an individual will never be shared outside of authorized Nevada State University staff and faculty in the Library and Office of Institutional Research. All data collection and reporting is in compliance with the Information Security Plan and the Institutional Review Board Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects.
